SSC LDC REQUIRMENT 2014

Staff Selection Commission has announced the Provisional scheduled for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC). Notification related to the SSC LDC recruitment & registration procedure will be declared during the month of July, and examination of the same will be held in November month. Scale of Pay: Rs 5,200/- to Rs 20,200/-


Age Bar:  Applicant must have attained the minimum age of 18 years & maximum age should not exceed the age of 27 years.


Relaxation will be given to candidates from the category of the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) & Other Backward Caste (OBC) Categories as per Government norms.

Compulsory Educational:Aspirants who have passed the Higher Secondary Exam (10+2) from School or Board recognized by the government can register themselves for the job.


Skills: Typing skill (in Hindi or English) is must to have for candidates applying for the post.
Typing Test:The method of “Typing Test” can either be Hindi or English (preferable, as filled in the Application Form). Typing speed is required to be 35 words per minute for English and Typing speed is required to be 30 words per minute for Hindi.
Cost for Registration:


Candidates required paying an amount of Rs 100/- in the form of “Challan Form” or “CRFS mode”. Candidates from Reserved Category & including Female Contenders are exempted to pay the amount or charges, not applicable on mentioned category applicants. Others are required to pay the amount on or before due date.


Exam Pattern for SSC LDC:Written Test: General Awareness of 50 Marks,
General Intelligence – 50 Marks,
Quantitative Aptitude or Basic Arithmetic Skill – 50 Marks, and
English Language – 50 Marks
Question paper must be completed within the given time of 120 minutes for total 150 questions.


Way of Selection:The selection of the candidates will take into account as per the marks of their Written Test and Typing Test speed / performance. Post qualifying the Written Test will be selected for Typing Test.


Way of Applying:Applicant may apply for the post of LDC by visiting the official site of SSC. There are two ways of applying for the post, i.e. via online mode or through offline mode. The “Challan Form” can also be paid by both the modes. The complete description related to the procedure of application is stated on the website of SSC.
